Ever heard of a PTAC?
No? You’ve likely seen them every time you’ve stayed at a hotel.
A PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) is the in-wall AC unit you’ll find below the window in hotel rooms, senior living facilities, and dorms. At RoomOne Solutions, we sell new and refurbished PTACs, manage removals and installations, and refurbish used PTAC units to extend their useful life.
Our main customers are hoteliers - ranging from the largest international brands to independent small businesses. But our market also spans multifamily housing, managed care facilities, dormitories, and residential properties.
What sets us apart? We focus on refurbishment, acquiring used PTACs from the field, refurbishing them using Lean Manufacturing techniques, and selling them through multiple channels. We're on a mission to deliver the lowest cost of conditioned air to the PTAC market, and we do this at scale.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Sourcing Account Executive (SAE), you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our PTAC recycling network. This means you’ll work with hotels, contractors, property managers, and renovation teams to embed RoomOne Solutions into PTAC replacement cycles and large-scale renovations.
The journey starts with high-impact prospecting and cold outreach, where you’ll introduce our unique PTAC recycling services to potential clients. As you develop these relationships, you’ll move from closing deals to building a sustainable, self-generating pipeline through the networks and partnerships you establish.
Initially, you’ll be in the trenches—cold emailing, calling, and meeting with prospects. But as you prove yourself and develop strong industry ties, your role will evolve. You’ll transition from aggressive deal-making to handling high-volume inbound leads generated by the industry relationships you cultivate. The more connections you build, the more leads you’ll receive from your ever-growing network of prospects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Create and Own a PTAC Recycling Network
- Identify and engage hotels, multifamily housing groups, and senior living operators replacing PTACs regularly.
- Develop relationships with decision-makers at the corporate and franchise levels to ensure ROS is their go-to PTAC solution.
- Win Deals Through Prospecting & Cold Outreach
- Use a high-touch sales approach—phone, email, and in-person—to educate prospects on PTAC disposal and secure deals.
- Generate and close new PTAC pickup projects while also forging long-term partnerships for repeat business.
- Manage a targeted list of high-value properties and work through structured outreach cycles to convert them.
- Integrate ROS into Renovation & Replacement Pipelines
- Work with hotel contractors, procurement teams, and sustainability leaders to position ROS as a standard renovation disposal service.
- Ensure every major PTAC replacement decision includes ROS as a recommended or required vendor.
- Leverage corporate mandates, sustainability goals, and regulatory compliance to increase adoption.
- Manage Logistics & Project Execution
- Coordinate seamless PTAC removals and shipments with our internal logistics team and external freight partners.
- Ensure projects are forecasted, cost-analyzed, and executed efficiently to maximize deal profitability.
- Scale to Become the Industry Standard
- Identify opportunities to expand our acquisition pipeline nationwide and increase defensibility.

- Outbound B2B Sales Experience
- Relentless prospecting—phone, email, and in-person sales
- Strong business development mindset—this isn’t just selling, it’s about building repeatable industry relationships.
- CRM & sales tech expertise—Pipedrive, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Superhuman, etc.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or project management is a plus.
- Creative problem solver—each PTAC recycling deal is unique, and you’ll need to adapt.
COMPENSATION & GROWTH:
- Year 1 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $60-100k (base + commission)
